What Pete said about mopar t-stat and group 34 for the battery. Preferably mopar there too.

Thanks to all, both advance auto and Napa said they group 58 batteries arrested standard, can I get by with one of those, matter of cost, tnanks

Group 58 is what they came with, but a 34 fits and is all I buy. The 34 provides more reserve capacity.

Fun fact, only 84-86 XJ and 86 MJ are locked to a group 58 battery unless you change the battery tray out for the newer style.

I just put in one of the dual post batteries, a NAPA Legend. I made my own cables. 1.0 for the mains. The + cable sort of bend on the top post battery. So, I figure to use a side post for it, then the top post to the PDC. The Dual post is a 800 CC.
