Cherokee values

I'd counter more people look for XJs, for wheeling. So, supply vs demand. I haven't kept track of XJ nor MJ prices in the past few years. Also, most go quick. Some don't. A guy at work is selling an XJ. Good to VG and a 3 inch lift. Plus a tow bar. Only bad I saw was the passenger rocker was rusted out. Motor purred, interior VG. We convinced him to put $4,800 on it. I think he tried to sell it a few years back, with a White XJ that's a bit beat for less. No takers. ???

XJ's are better from a utility stand point. Really they are the greatest SUVs ever made. Super capable, 4 doors and decent MPG. MJ's are limited being a 2 door and really not a lot of people have any clue about them. I didn't know they existed until I had one. I do think a lot of the XJ values are insane, especially these people with low mileage ones asking $25k+.

Libertys are still cheap and are heavier.  they make very good plow pushers. :L:

XJ’s are the best suvs ever made for the working man. There is nothing built as well or as useful or has the longevity of an Renix or HO XJ. I got 453k out of my 98 on the original motor. First gear started poping out at 340k so I swapped a 120k ax15 in and that was both were still working good when I scrapped it. Totally rotten, nothing salvageable on the body.

Axles were both worn out.

I don't have that much to dump. I'm around 2500 max. Ideally a 98 or similar dist motor XJ so I can use my 98 for parts. Trying not to do floors mid winter. Auto preferred.  Forever I wanted a 5 speed.  So hard to find. Now I want to stay auto and there's 4 standards listed locally. Wth
