i mean, it depends entirely on what the plan is once it's at your house.  resto?  daily?  gut it for a giant, fire-breathing V8?   If I was looking for a resto to take to the local car shows, I'd totally jump on that. :D   well, if we didn't already have the Z.

Most likely as a daily while I overhaul the comanche. I’m also in Cali, so that kinda limits what can be done while also keeping it legal. If I could put a big ol engine in it and run it with no care for smog, then that’d be the plan.

I always wanted an 80s F-body.  I see them show up from time to time and give thought to buying one.

 

If you want it and can afford it, go for it.

Keep in mind it's a first model year for that body style so there are some 82 specific parts that are going to be more expensive/harder to find. Like those missing front bumper pieces. 

 

My wife's 85 trans am.
