Torq_Shep Posted June 27, 2021 Share Posted June 27, 2021 I am going to try and recreate @Limeyjeeper build thread for this Jeep based on the pictures he sent me. Limey bought the jeep sometime in 2007 in roughly the following condition. Note this was an Illinois jeep so yes it had/has rust. Interior was in good condition and as optioned it had a roll bar, NP231, D35 rear, 4.0, and AW4. Overall a pretty decent little truck. The bed, tailgate, rocker panels, cab corners, and parts of the floorboard were all replaced with not rusty pieces. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I will wait for him to respond to make sure he is okay with being named =P He did a ton of really great work to it and I am 100% in love with this truck. The best part is there are definitely things I am going to do to make it my own and get it to where I want it to be. As it sits currently: 4.7 ATK Stroker AX15 NP242 D44 Rear with clutch pack LSD Factory Rollbar A bunch of other really good stuff Major issues: Floorboard rust and some frame corrosion to be addressed. Paint is peeling in some areas Tailgate that came with the truck isn't painted Engine cooling fans are questionable (DBOR triple setup but I can never get more than 2 to work at a time) A/C works but absolutely sucks... Minor issues: Seats have been reupholstered but the new fabric is already worn out. Non-factory head unit I personally like the eliminator wheels over the rubicons Front grille and cowl are cracked Windshield has a chunk missing out of it (on the inside where the rear view mirror was) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So far I have put in @Dzimm's fancy cab vents, installed the correct door cards (Had Laredo ones in it), fixed a bad pressure switch in the AC and recharged it, and found a set of eliminator wheels I need to get refinished. I have a plan for this truck but I need to go find my other build thread. Been stuck in Portland for work but I am hauling my trucks up there for my buddy to do the body work on one of them while I work in Seattle.
