Passanger side vacuum ball relocation.

Recommended Posts

I think I posted something about this before but where's the best spot to relocate this vacuum ball thats not where the radiator fluid goes. Also under it is kinda not a option either because my winch solenoid is down there for now.

I relocated a smaller universal style one to just In front of the hvac blower motor. I have since eliminated the vacuum canister all together since I don’t really have any vacuum accessories aside from hvac and a single check valve takes care of that.

I do have cruise control which I believe relys on that canister

Yeah, cruise control would need that vacuum reserve. However, if you deleted the CAD you could probably get by with a more compact canister.

How to search:

Go to google.com

type: site:comancheclub.com **search string**

Enjoy.

For example, you want to know more about the CAD? Google "site:comancheclub.com central axle disconnect". Read 4-5 of the threads. Should give you PLENTY of information. This works well for all kinds of initial searches. Substitute other website address for other searches. Great tool.

I'm definitely quoting that! It’s quite a lost art

Was there anything I said that violated those guidelines? If so, apologies.

don't sweat it. :beerchug:  that rule is there mostly to keep yahoos from yelling at the new guys every day like on other forums. :L:  plus a lot of questions are super dependent on the circumstances and won't necessarily ever be answered by searching (eg: what lift is right for me?) so I want to encourage people to ask them so the brainpower of the CC can figure out the specifics that are most helpful.  :D

You won't know unless you ask. However, if you don't even know what to ask how will you ever learn? My comment was not a negative about asking questions. It was an extra means of finding information, which someone might not know about unless they had been exposed to it. Nothing negative was meant in anyway. So I will mimic Ghetdjc and say: apologies if I violated any guidelines. Was not my intent.
