Dzimm Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Looks like it's just a reinforcement plate for the bumper mount and uses real nuts instead of the stupid metal clip on things. Do you have a picture of the other block you are talking about?

scaleless Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 The block is supposed to be there, yes. It's there to deflect the box in case of a front-end collisions so the steering shaft doesn't, like, spear through the driver.They removed it in the HO years.

I had to remove the cross member so I took it out
