ZJ axles

Dudes, got some free post-2000 axles off a grand Cherokee, anything salvageable from these? Supposedly the front diff is whining, I'll be grabbing them this weekend...

I would guess that the front axle is low pinion, which is less desirable. That’s all I got. 
The rear may be a D44A, A meaning aluminum. It sucks.

They are wider. I remember 5 inches or so. The knuckles are used for a WJ Big Brake conversion. I think some use the axle for a wider track.

Also 2000+ would be WJ GC.

Looks like I'll salvage the brakes and knuckles I reckon.

 

@Pete M I don't think these will have the arms but I will find out tomorrow, do you need them?

The ZJ brakes aren't the ones you want. If you do a WJ conversion you need the 01+ to get the akebono. Other than scrap not really worth a crap.

not personally, but they are a great upgrade for anyone running stock length arms.

Remember the lug pattern for the WJ is different, too.
