BeaterComanche86
Trying to get some information as I will possibly be buying this. As far as I know it’s a 89 swb 2wd with a 4.0 and a automatic. I’ll add pics if I end up buying it.

BeaterComanche86
@eaglescout526 thanks a bunch man, that is a looooonnng build sheet, anything that stands out to you? Looks well optioned and has a Dana 44 with 3.55.
eaglescout526
No problem! The body code stands out to me. TS meaning it is 2wd sport trim MJ of some sort. But it is a pretty long build sheet for an 89 and sport is just a level before the "highline" trim body code according to Chrysler. I would think this is a well optioned and hopefully a well loved MJ.
BeaterComanche86
That’s what I’m hoping that someone’s been taking care of it, from what I’ve seen and heard it runs and stops but I’ll really know once I see it in person. I’ll hopefully be taking a look later this week and bringing it to its new home.
eaglescout526
Oooooo Youll have to post a couple pics. Especially if it is Colorado Red.
BeaterComanche86
Will do, it’s definitely got the original Colorado red paint. It’s not in great shape but i may be able to clean it up. Definitely not doing a respray if I get it, at least not for a long time.

BeaterComanche86
Here she is: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/447275993333404/?ref=search&referral_code=undefined Currently trying to decide if I want to take on another project or just stick with the one I have. Besides my MJ I know I’ll be working on a 1990 Toyota Pickup in the near future, so I may just let this one pass. Decisions decisions
89 MJ
Pass. Cobbled floors are scary.
Pete M
at this point I just assume any MJ I'm looking at need attention paid to the floors.
BeaterComanche86
@Pete M I’m right there with you, being on the east coast I just assume there’s gonna be rust. I was more concerned if it ran and how the frame was. This one does run and from what I’m told has a solid frame but I’ve decided not to take this project on. Just gonna put the money into my 86 and some home projects.
89 MJ
I know they all need floors, I just get skeptical when I see someone replaced them and gave up on the project.
BeaterComanche86
@89 MJ Your not wrong, doesn’t look like the PO tried to hard on the floor replacement. I was just willing to overlook that considering the condition of my 86’s floor and the fact it has a Dana 44 and looks relatively complete. BeaterComanche86
That’s cool it’s stayed in MD, I believe it’s been sold or he decided to keep it. It’s not on market place anymore.
