89 MJ Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 I'm sure lots of them were scrapped with the Cash for Clunkers program or just plain scrapped and dealerships probably had a hard time selling these, so like some of the MOPAR aero cars (Superbird, Daytona), they were probably converted to the "normal" version and sold that way and the body kits just either went on the shelf or were tossed in the garbage.

I really want to save one if I come across one in a yard or something. add it to the list of projects
Dzimm Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Looks like you've got 98 on both lists, I'm assuming that should be 99 in the missing section. Honestly 19% isn't terribly bad for a 30 year old special edition truck. I'm guessing there is probably only about another 15-20 trucks still out there we don't know about, the rest unfortunately are lost forever. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Torq_Shep Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 I know of one that is not in the registry but I am having trouble getting a hold of the guy again. Basically he had one, it got into an accident, he rebuilt it but the accident destroyed most of the body kit so he just went regular comanche with it. But he owned it over a decade ago when they were not as rare. I know it got repainted to white after the accident not sure on original color. I do not know which number it is.

Nevermind found a number in an old message from him. #54 which has already been found.
Comanche SS Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 I had #59 but it no longer exists. Might be south of the Border, whose to say?? I still have the plaque.
Goose_XJ88 Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Looks like the list needs to be updated. I see Threads for #24, 31, 67
