rylee144
I noticed a month ago that my battery gauge was reading in the 10-11 range. I took it to les schwabs and had them test the battery and the alternator. They informed me both were good. My battery is about 5 years old if I recall correctly. On my drive to my daughters day care I saw that my gauge was now pegged in the red. I made the trip, came home and went to schwabs for some trailer tires. On the way my wipers were super slow. I parked and the radio died. I tried to start it and the battery was toast. I had them check it and they said the battery needed replaced. I now have a new battery but my battery gauge is still pegged in the red. Thoughts?
derf
May be that your alternator is actually shot as well.

derf
Double check at the battery terminals with a good voltmeter too. It may be your gauge is off.
