Muncher
Alright so another question for today is window related. So on my driver's side i rolled it down and then it just wouldn't go up so i had to push it up my self. And on the passenger side it goes down but then at like 4 inches of window left it dosent go down anymore. Any tips to fix this?
rylee144
Mine just needed WD40. Got the bottle with the bendable spray nosle. Took off the door card and bent the nosle to the track and gave it a spray while cranking the window up and down. It may help it may not. Mine has been perfect ever since

rylee144
Me either. I'm no master. But when you have the door card off you'll be able to see better and check your speakers.
eaglescout526
I discovered this as I'm sure others did and its probably been mentioned but if you look down in the door you will see a hose. That hose holds the snake when the window is rolled down. Spray in there and roll it up and down a few times to help lube the track up

Muncher
I did try to lube them but that didnt work. So the passanger side goes up ajd down fine but when it gets to the bottom it comes off the track and i have to put it up my self. And oj the passanger side the handle just spins at a certain point and it won't go down. Not quite sure how to fix this.

eaglescout526
It should be connected some where on the regulator.

eaglescout526
If it wasnt such a task to take my door cards off I could show you. But it should be somewhere around there.

I would use white lithium grease in a spray can instead of wd-40. I believe minuit rebuilt his when he did a power window swap

I'll look for it here in a bit. The gist of it is, if the regulator skips, it's probably too late, but if it's stiff or moves slowly, cleaning and lubing the worm gear will make a world of difference.
