Eagle
Ten years ago, when I worked for the building department in a small town up-state, our mail carrier made her rounds in a late model, right-hand drive Cherokee. I would have loved to buy it, but it wasn't for sale.
Dzimm
There are still quite a few rural postal carriers around here that drive XJs. There are 3 that deliver in my area and I see two of them almost every day. Most are the left hand drive with pulley and dual pedals so it can be driven from the passenger seat. A few are true right hand drive.
87MJTIM
I see almost weekly a right hand drive 97+ XJ. I don’t think it was a postal Jeep ever
JMO413
I see about three different TJ's that are mail Jeeps now. All three used to be XJ's. All 6 were factory RHD.
strictlyxjs
We had a postal RHD xj at work. It had a mail tray bolted over the "left side" seat. I stole the "left side" seat out of it to replace my worn down drivers seat beacause it was essentialy brand new lol.
