Bed lining

Recommended Posts

I had mine BullitLined. It holds up well but any spray in bedliner will still need good surface prep to stick well and I think they slumped out on mine. Rhino liner is not UV stable so if you get a lot of sun it will start to fade. Heard good things about raptor liner

I had mine done with LINE X and am very happy with it.   Depending on what colour you're having your MJ painted you might want to consider getting the additional UV protection coat.   My MJ is black and I wanted the bedliner to stay black.   If it was any other colour I probably wouldn't have cared if the bed faded a bit over time.

Mine had an OEM hard bed liner too.   Apart from some scuffed paint, when I took it out the bed was in perfect condition.  There was a number of screw holes for the original liner that I thought needed to be welded shut.   I filled in all of the ones in the tailgate, ground them down, primed them, etc.   When I went to set the date at LINE X the guy said "don't bother".   They cut about 1"x1" squares of tin tape, placed them over the holes and then sprayed.   With the thickness and texture of the covering you can not tell where the holes were.

by oem do you mean the removable liner? The problem with removable liners is water can get stuck underneath and rust out your bedfloor, i would do a spray in bed liner, linex, rhino liner, and raptor liner are all pretty good. i would go with linex if you could though
