CoastChief
Good Afternoon guys, I have been working in art for most of my life. Want to give back to CC in someway. I recently received two door moldings. If anyone could temporarily donate the rest of the components OR help me track them down I would be very grateful. Today I met with my favorite plastic/Elastomere /urethane supplier and have a good lead for a exact rubber match. This in mind, simpler rubber components will be easy to reproduce in the future. I have a vinyl cutter and will begin designing CC stickers and State specific stickers soon. ( currently working on fishing lure stickers )
eaglescout526
Wish I still had my pieces to send ya. Sure its not something that could come in cut to fit form? Like yardage?

Like yardage? They have slight denominational quality. With cutting it would leave an extreme hard edge. They would not look correct, or would require sanding. Versus casting the 3 pieces as (left side mother mold) and (right side mother mold). Making them perfect from the OEM moldings.
eaglescout526
Makes sense. Hopefully someone has got some spare pieces laying around to send ya.
Minuit
I have a full set of the SWB Comanche specific pieces if nobody closer can supply you a set.
Red Mistress
I will be restoring my Eliminator black / chrome moldings. I’ve seen a guy insert chrome tape in middle of Ford OBS moldings. he said took forever with exacto knife and the water / soap decal trick. fiatslug87
If you still need a set I came across my SWB ones while organizing/inventorying, just let me know. Also, if you want to make LWB ones I can send you the measurements of the bed side pieces.

Curious are they completely flat on the back?

CoastChief
Hello Everyone, I’ll be reproducing vinyl body molding for Jeep Comanches here soon. First test piece fit great on mine! I’ll be making the full set in the next 2 months. Please PM me so I can get an idea of how many to stock. Also: if anyone has the Laredo full set in good to perfect condition. I can reproduce them. Comanche Club members will get priority, and a Jeep sticker . Please PM on this site. $150 for a full set. Thank you to @fiatslug87 @eaglescout526 for helping make this possible. please feel free to share and repost. Any recommended sites would be huge. I have posted on Facebook groups- Jeep Comanche Preservation Society- all things comanche so far. thank you

87MJJeep
I might be interested in a Laredo set. Will they be the factory gray color?
boxyjeep
Any interest in making 97+ style body side moldings that would fit the MJ? Or 97+ rear flares?
CoastChief
@87MJJeep they have not been made yet, I am looking currently for a set so I can properly reproduce them. Black is easy. @Chargum85 Its possible but they would come out shiny. not matte like regular rubber. I'm sure its not out of the cards
