Ochoa88
i think i have seen this posted somewhere but i can find it. How can i know which model of comanche i have. The inside is completely stripped. The outside has been completely painted and does not have any emblems. Its a 1991, inline 6, 4WD, has bucket seats with e-break in between. If there is other information anyone needs to help me figure out the model, please let me know.
Pete M
have you posted the VIN in the registry? One of the members that works at a dealership can get you the build sheet data.
Ochoa88
Will do thank you. I hope you don't mind if i steal your GIF makes. I'm thinking of using it to replace the text message "On my way!"
fiatslug87
Someone added the hand brake, all Comanches had foot actuated parking brakes.
eaglescout526
Actually the VIN won't say which package you have. JMO posted what each digit means from his parts catalogue, I think he has 89-?. I need to post what the 86-88 digits mean as I have those old catalogues. fiatslug87
From the build sheet eaglescout526 posted in the registry, it looks like a base model especially with the 195 tires.
MeanLemons
I was taking my drivers door panel off, and for some reason I found the 2-page factory build sheet for my truck inside it. Maybe if u still have the original door, it won’t hurt to take a look.

Glad you rescued them. I snagged a few vintage late 70's and early 80's books for Dodges that were going to be tossed and did the same as you.
