About to find out. Taking it to a exhaust shop, who installed the SS cat back on it a year ago, this morning. Hopefully if it is cracked, that they can weld it.

The exhaust shop who installed my catback SS, lied to me about my current manifold. They told me that it was cast and they could not weld that.

They lost me, with that lie. I won't go back.

I emailed them and left them with a serious tongue lashing.

I am buying this true dual pacesetter header, from Curtis (who owned, Comanche Ranch, York, PA). Curt had to shut it down due to being diagnosed with Parkinsons, 3 years ago.

Curt told me that this setup was only on the truck for 9 months.

From 1987 to 1992 all of the 4.0 were the same. If its your exhaust manifold they were all the same for those years. You should be able to go to any junk yard and find one in good condition.

Not quite true. Renix exhaust manifold is different than HO. HO doesn't have an EGR bung in the exhaust manifold and the O2 sensors is in the head pipe. They are interchangable if you delete EGR and get the HO head pipe. You will still need a Renix manifold gasket.

There are 17 Renix manifolds still left. There’s also some HO ones too.

From who? Please advise.
