1989commanche
Got me some of those newfangled switches for my aux lights with a separate input for the labels to illuminate with the dash -interior lights. Where is the best place to run the wire that supplies power when dash lights are on. I like to do things right and don’t want to just start hacking into wires under the dash. Is there a wire going to the radio or somewhere else that is easy to get to? The upper pic lights when switch is on but label is supposed to light with the dash lights. Also does anyone know a vendor that sells a switch panel that replaces the oem clock panel. I have seen them somewhere but can’t remember who was selling it. I think it held 4 rocker switches. Ωhm
Incandescent bulbs or LEDs? Dash lights work off the DIM circuit of the Headlight Switch and and can be dimmed.
1989commanche
I’m pretty sure they are LED indicator lights. My dimmer hasn’t worked since I got the truck and I haven’t spent the time to change it out. I like full bright anyway.
Ωhm
If you don't have the Cargo Lamp Switch, harness should still have the connector (C366). If you don't have the Fog Lamp Switch , harness should still have the connector (C176). Look under dash left side. Problem is both C176 and C366 are identical (look alike). Both use Pin_A for ground and Pin_B for B+. C366 is hot when PARK lamps are lit, C176 is hot when HEADLAMPS are lit. If you have both available, you'll need to determine which is which. Great I have neither switch installed. So I just need to check to see which connector is which and tie on to the parking lamp lead from connector C366. Sounds simple enough. Thank you. Do you know what color the wires are supposed to be for 366. There are quite a few wires under there that have been cut and are just zip tied to something. At least 6 or eight of them. I would rather they light up when parking lights are on. Don’t always need headlights on.

C366_B is ORG/BLK. Seems all DIMMING circuits are the same color code. C157_B is strictly PARK lamps. Color code should be DK BLU.
1989commanche
There were a few instrument lamp sockets just dangling about. I just used one of those. On when key on and parking lights lit.

1989commanche
I got them at the Pomona off road show. But there are plenty of folks on Amazon and eBay that sell them. If you need I should have the contact info of where mine came from.
