I was wondering where or where does the moisture or water come from in that enters the cab under the carpet?

I heard it comes from the corner or the passanger side windshield and works it's way down to the carpet, but I don't know.

Can anyone share there experience where they doiscovered water entering the cab and what they did to eliminate it?

thanks

Seams/ gaps in the sheet metal of the floor board. Or rust holes if you are in that part of the states. I’m in CA and both my MJs when I coated the floor boards (to seal them up) drip dripped the POR15 coating on the floor below through unsealed factory gaps in the floorboard.

Hmm, let's see...

Door seals, antenna grommet, blower motor seal, heater core/AC evaporator passthrough seal, HVAC fresh air seal, evaporator drain seal, wire harness bulkhead, steering column base seal, seams in firewall to inner fender connection, rear windshield, front windshield, opening vent windows if you have them...

I think that's most of them. Anywhere water can get through, it will get through and has probably gotten through. Re-waterproofing an MJ is NOT an easy task.
