youngfred
... Thinking about adding Electric Door Locks. Will these XJ rear-door handle trim with switch, fit the MJ doors? The Actuators are available but I do not know about the rest of the internal hardware. Has anybody added Electric door locks using these? youngfred
amsuco
I once bought a car that had power door locks and manual windows. I never could understand the logic of that combination. All power? Yes. All manual? Yes. But to have one power and the other manual? No. I'm curious as to what your reasoning is.
jdog
I just got done swapping windows and locks, I would just do both, the harness needed for the locks is the same, but you could build a harness for just the lock circuit if you wanted. But as stated above why just locks? Stock 1988 swb 4.0 ax15 np 231.

I didn't want to change out door panels(left over-manual window crank hole). My door panels are in great shape. youngfred

youngfred
... Quadratec has this one. Each Switch Pod would cover the crank-hole. https://www.quadratec.com/products/73003_801.htm youngfred
Minuit
There are OEM door switch panels for power locks but no power windows. Not very common, but they do exist.

I might just be a guinea pig one day and go for it.
gogmorgo
That kit is for a 2-door XJ. Is it actually going to fit in an MJ that uses the shorter 4-door fronts? Seems odd there's two review, one says it fits great the other said it doesn't fit at all. The "customer photos" are clearly a 2-door XJ.
