COM86 Posted June 25, 2019 Share Posted June 25, 2019 Curious about the name of the part that bolts/connects to the Ford 8.8 axle and the jeep driveshaft. The picture shows the 4 bolts. DirtyComanche Posted June 25, 2019 Share Posted June 25, 2019 Companion flange. The other flange (on your axle) is the pinion flange... So the one that goes with it is the companion. But you will hear adapter flange too... Ford glues the ujoints in so they're rather terrible to get out. The Explorer would have the tight size.
