Just bought a used 2015 Grand Cherokee limited. 3.6, 4x4, leather, 20's.... Most all the goodies. It's taking on family hauling duty now that we are selling our old Hyundai Tucson to my father in law to tow behind his motorhome. I feel like we got a good deal on it. 29,000 miles on it, one owner lease turn in.

Looks like someone might be looking forward to getting their driver's license.

She has 4-5 years yet, but it will be what she learns to drive in. Then I'll teach her to drive a manual and she'll probably be the only person in her school that could drive one!

A forgotten art. Like telling time, being able to write a letter, and cursive writing. How about those  pre cell phone days when you actually had to call your gf or bf and hope they answered instead of getting stuck on the phone with a parent?!?!

Our daughter will soon be 19.  When she was learning to drive, my wife and I taught her to drive manuals.  At that time, 3 of our 4 vehicles has manuals (84 CJ7, 87 MJ, 05 Honda CRV).  She prefers driving the manuals over the one automatic (03 Suburban).

We have recently added a 5th auto - '11 Subaru Legacy w/ 6 spd manual.

Unfortunately, manuals are getting hard to find new.

This Grand will be the first automatic equipped vehicle we've had in almost 20 years. In my dealership experience, the 8 speed in it has been a decent trans so far, which is the only reason I was willing to buy one.

And yes, manuals are getting harder and harder to find unless you want to buy a tiny econobox with no options. Both of our Hyundai's are base model no up option cars, luckily they are both fairly well equipped for being base models. We are just at that point in our lives that we want something nicer, and this Grand fits the bill.
