Clutch flushed and bled.

New parking brake cable installed.

Rear WIndow installed.   That was very difficult and I'll never do another window again.   Well worth paying to have it done.

She drives.   Fuel tank is easy to install once the driveshaft is removed.

Got some work to do still, lots of it.   Clutch is good after bleed, feels great.  Brakes don't feel strong but they stop.

Need to do a full change of transmission and axle fluids.

Now the fuel sender isn't working.   Rats.

Then start on the paint work.

Tested out the 4WD today.

Broke off the shift arm on the vacuum servo.

Transfer case will shift from 4H->N->4L and back, but never into 2H.    Confirmed linkage is good, and the detent is good for 2H.  Will change the oil tomorrow and give it another shot (NP 231).

Figured out nothing is working, no lights, or blower motor.    They all worked before.   I checked the grounds under the hood and the dash, looked ok.  Thoughts?

Are the Horns and Wipers on that list of things that don't work? If so, check IGN SW (BRN wire) for melted connector.

Nothing works except the engine.

It all worked fine before I removed the dash, and the bulkhead connector.

Long time since update.

Traced the wiring issue down to a pin inside the bulkhead connector.   I documented the fix for this inside another thread.   Ford parts worked correctly to get the bulkhead connector all going again.

Truck has been sitting outside for the past year due to lack of interest.

In meantime got a full bench seat with headrests.

She's gone today....hopefully when I get it back it will look as it did in 1988.

And it's finally back.   Have to finish putting on the body trim and putting in the interior trim.

Dad and mom got to see their Comanche looking better than new.

I paid more for the body work than it cost new in 88.

Pete,

Hard to believe that's the same bed you and I pulled that summer day.

Shop gave me hell about finding a better one, then made it look new again.

Grill is fixed!   Gotta find some black headlamp buckets now.
