JolietJEEP'84
Can anyone offer their expertise? Not sure if this is factory or after market as I'm not familiar with how they mount. Thanks!
krustyballer16
That is an aftermarket one. Generic fit all push bar. It's not contoured to fit the jeep bumper exactly like this... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

Is it bolted to the factory tow hook brackets?
krustyballer16
No, mounted with 90* tabs like yours, but shorter and wider and thicker and cleaner lolSent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
JMO413
Mine is very similar. My bracket are welded on and face to the inside. There are four bolts that hold it to the factory bumper bar. This is the to bolt. The fog light almost hides it. You can sorta see the mount tab in this one. Last two pictures are the bottom mount tabs. Hope this helps. gogmorgo
So were the OE ones only attached to the thin sheet metal bumper without any additional bracing? I mean I know the factory stuff is almost just decorative due to needing to survive crash testing, but that doesn't seem very solid at all. fiatslug87
The factory brush guard looks like this.
