A/C kept house at 77 F, but garage is not climate controlled, so into mid 90's before noon. Lots of smoke at noon from the fire in Alpine. Escondido, Ca 112 F ComancheSS lives here. Alpine, Ca 109 F plus a 600 acre brush fire. Very bad news for the firefighters. Closed Interstate 8 for a short time. 5% contained this morning. Still, low temps are 72+. And humidity is up with tropical moisture. Even Mt. Palomar, at 6100+ feet is low 90's today.
