Two questions.

1. I've heard that you can't replace the e12s because a normal socket won't fit.

True or false.

2. I've miss placed all the Bellhousing bolts (even the starter ones) so now I'm just going to stop by the nut and bolt shop to get some. But I need to know what to get.

Thank you

Bellhousing uppers - 3/8” x 16 x 1 7/8”

bellhousing lowers - 7/16” x 14 x 3 1/8”

I replaced my e12 bolts with studs.  helped out with aligning the trans for installation.

Cool idea.  With I had thought of that when I had to drop my transmission a couple Months ago.

That's a great idea!!  Did you go with the factory lengths Dando posted?

Do these apply to all-years of 4.0?  Getting ready to drop my BA10 next month.

pretty sure the studs were like an inch longer than the bolt would be.  add locktite to the stud and use 2 nuts together to tighten it in.  let the locktite cure before installing the trans and try not to bottom out the studs.  :L:

Will do!  Did you use red loctite and did you replace all the bolts, or just the E12 ones?

whatever the weaker locktite is.  just has to hold enough to tighten the nuts.

I replaced only the e12s.
