KANTANKRUS
I am just trying to figure out, what I need to do, to get it to track right. Here in the Nazi state of PA, wheel spacers are a big no-no!
Pete M
do you already have the 8.8 installed or is this hypothetical?
DirtyComanche
Get a Super 88 kit. It widens the axle without spacers, and eliminates the C-clips. If I was to run an 8.8 I'd get it.

I can look when I get in from the shop tonight.
Jeep Driver
Here, not 4x but similar principle. If I were dead set on 8.8 for my truck, I'd find the housing and gears I want, then send off to a rear specialist and have it retubed with 9" ends, and have axles made. Set up for discs. Yeah, will cost about $800 or so, but once done, it's done. And you can correct that horrific off-set. Skip to about 5:

Here in the Nazi state of PA, wheel spacers are a big no-no! Spacers are a no-go in PA, but adapters are OK. So if you use a spacer that bolts to the axel, and your wheel bolts to the spacer, your inspection guy shouldn't have an issue. With that said, in PA it is best to use wheels with the proper offset, but make sure your tread is nearly 100% covered by your flares.
DirtyComanche
Apparently Superior went out of business, guess I missed that, but Yukon makes the same kit. https://www.yukongear.com/productdetails.aspx?ProdID=10255 East Coat Gear Supply has it listed at $588. I'd talk to WayneHartwig on Pirate (DiffsOnly) and see what he can do, I'd guess probably right around the $500 mark.
