Gubachoo
I've been checking junkyards for a bit now, and never come across a pair. Anyone know if they were available on cherokees as thats what they have in the yards and I don't even know if they came on them. Anyone know if they were a common option or am looking for a needle in a haystack?
Eagle
Much closer to a needle in a haystack.
Minuit
You'll have better luck on the older models. I don't think I've ever seen them on a Cherokee. They weren't common to begin with, and finding a set that are still in good shape in 2018 isn't going to be too easy.
Pete M
just an fyi, the factory put a brace on the inside of the door where the tow mirrors attach.
Master7122
I have a set of tow mirrors from a comanche I’ll basically give you, they don’t stay in place anymore and the inside sounds very rusty when you shack them. Maybe you could repair the insides?

Not many comanches in yards in CT or new england in general...

Yeah, I had seen a few diagrams of it. I figure even if I just get mirrors I can make a simple brace in the door to support it. They need to be repaired and maybe even replaced, then painted so I figure I could fab a bracket and just weld it to the door skin for support. I imagine those brackets would be pretty messy on most of these.
johnj92131
Question? What are you towing? Years ago my truck had factory door mounted big flat mirrors. They vibrated like crazy. Replaced them with stock XJ mirrors, the purchased a set of clampon mirrors that fit over The stock xk mirrors. Not any better. Finally installed 97+ xj mirrors. Working very well for past 6-7 years. carnuck
I saved some factory mirrors from an ‘84 Bronco that did the job well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
