HunterK
Hey guys I need some help. Was driving down the road came to a red light sitting in 1st gear with the clutch in, it wanted to stall, right when I took off it stalled and the pedal went limp/ had no pressure. Is that a slave cylinder issue? Or what could be wrong? Thanks.
75sv1
Could be the salve or the master cylinder for the clutch. I remember my master went out, then two weeks or so later the slave went out. What year?
Eagle
It could be the slave cylinder, it could be the master cylinder, or it could be the line connecting the two.
Big Dan
Same thing happened to me a few months ago. It ended up being the slave.
omega_rugal
is there a visible leak? could be master/slave or the link between... but if it`s not leaking fluid then is the master cylinder
Marine1Texas
Best bet is when you replace the slave replace it all. I been thru the Replace master then the slave went out then the line burst. So when I replace one every 6 to 8 years I do it all.
jpdriver1
just sourced this out for mine today --- rock auto has m/c, slave cyl & hose ---- used 1990 ax-15 as reference, since that is what is to go in.
