new paint job, all i need to do is get some orange pin striping along the sides where the black meets the silver and it'll be finished. don't be too picky on the small dents still there as this is my old beater just with a new paint job :D

Totally agree with the 2-tone paint job :D

 

I picked up a '87 with the blue/silver and it's starting to grow on me, I like the looks of it, really accents the body lines of the MJ.

It does look real nice. I have to agree it should look better with the stripes on it. Now I'm almost embarassed to post pics of how my 86 looks, for fear that some people will think I copied a few ideas from people.

That's what this forum is about right. To help, inspire, share ideas and chat with fellow jeepers without the worry of getting flamed. When my MJ is done, the ideas and suggestions of a lot of people from this board will be in there. :brows:

 

Mike, the two tone looks great. Was looking at going that route but the son has different plans. :nuts:

Thanks mfpdm. I needed that. As for the ideas I put into mine, well let's just say that one of them is on the hood. Which I now know will work out nicely. Again, beautiful truck mike, and being a first time paint job for you, it turned out great.
