SBpunk
Hell Creek stopped selling mj leafs so figured I'd try general spring to get some metric ton military wrapped springs. Was told 4 weeks since they had to be made. No biggie. Sitting at 6 weeks now and when I can get a hold of the only guy that knows anything about it all I get is "they're still at the manufacturer" asked an estimate on how long and was told around 8 weeks. At this point I shouldve just gone with an add a leaf or drove out to pick up some metric tons. Figured I'd share the experience if anyone is thinking about going that route. We'll see how the springs are if they get here before winter...
daking
I was going to order military wrapped springs a few months back. I called to ask if they wore in stock. They said no. I asked what they had in stock. He listed 1 spring set. I ordered that. I got those springs the same week I ordered. I DID NOT want to be in your position. Sorry for your delay, damn first world problems.... :/
Megadan
The problem with the military wrap MT springs is that they were initially done in a batch run. Single orders can have a silly layover time. When I was considering getting a pair they told me it could take as long as 90 days turn around. I've only had good dealings with GS, but you definitely want to call them before ordering. SBpunk
So I've been calling every Monday around 1400 or so to check in and getting the same answer every time "I'm expecting them from my supplier any day now". Well decided to give it a shot today and finally got something different. They told me they were being shipped from Omaha today and he'll have them Monday. Hopefully its not more smoke but going to call Tuesday if its not marked for shipped. Fingers crossed.

Plus the zinc coating would've saved me time too. Hopefully they're coated with something so I don't have to pull them apart and hit them with tractor spray paint like I did the RE springs on my old XJ. has anyone tried benz springs here in portland ore? they handle alot of different brands and also re arcing too. they even do customs as well I think. SBpunk
Not sure but either way it's bad business. Going to call Wednesday if my order status hasn't updated to ask. If they still don't have them in I'll get a refund and put the money toward something else and just find used metric tons.

SBpunk
Just got in. They look good. Wasn't expecting them to have the bushings and center pin already. Least now I have extras.
SBpunk
Bushings seem like a different size on the large side and the small side the bolt hole seems larger than stockers. After tomorrow I'm on leave until thursday so plenty of time.

They may have ordered a small run of them, but only General Springs could really answer that for sure.
Megadan
I'm ready to see how much lift they give you. I want some but don't want much lift if any. According to General springs, when they first made these, They give 1 1/2" lift over stock ride height (ie, good stock springs or aftermarket replacements). So if your springs are sagging, they will obviously give a bit more.
SBpunk
Someone had passed along they give 3 inches and settle about 3/4. Waiting on ordering some Ironman Fab shackles until I figure out what the height is. Shooting for a 3 inch lift total. I just got cut loose early for work so time to start playing!!! Will check in shortly and let you guys know how its going.

GrizzzzBear
Everybody is saying about 3 or 4 different Spring Companies. What ever happened with trying to find a LOCAL to YOU Shop??? I was about 20 miles from a Reputable Shop, Offered Guarantee for a Correct Fit. Cost was about $500/pair. I have NO Complaints about them.
