bmorgan25
I'm in need of a set of spring perches for my mj. I have found some at different places...rustys has them but the shipping is nearly 20 dollars and that just pisses me off, and I don't trust the ones I found on ebay....any body you guys recommend...wouldn't mind them to be a bit higher than the stock ones..I'm putting my rear into an SOA. thanks in advance
poopypants
If $20 bothers you just reuse them...I've cut them off with an angle grinder and reused them on a couple different soa projects...doesn't really take that long
Pete M
the taller they are, the more they exacerbate spring-wrap. the longer they are, the more they fight spring-wrap. spend wisely :D
bmorgan25
20 dollars in shipping for a 25 dollar product does bother me....! my old ones are rough and I'm looking for new...I know I could cut them off and reuse....just didn't want to go that way.... gogmorgo
Jegs, summit racing, etc will ship orders under $25 for $6. You should be able to find the right perches at any place like that. $20 is nothing compared to most of the shipping costs I end up incurring... Eagle
It's hard to find a better spring perch than the ones in the Mopar Performance catalog, and the price is stupid cheap for what you get. I ordered a set several years ago. The price was so low that I couldn't believe it was for a pair, so I ordered two. And I got two -- pairs. Here they are at Jeg's http://www.jegs.com/i/Mopar-Performance/312/P4120074/10002/-1 Part number is P4120074. You may be able to order them from a local Jeep, Dodge, or Chrysler dealer and not pay any shipping.
MJam86
I went with these https://www.tntcustoms.com/jeep_parts/u_bolt_eliminators_leaf_spring_perches And absolutely love them. No wheel hop and no axle wrap. Had them on for about 2 years now.
Doc.
I went with these https://www.tntcustoms.com/jeep_parts/u_bolt_eliminators_leaf_spring_perches And absolutely love them. No wheel hop and no axle wrap. Had them on for about 2 years now. I looked at them and thought, why would you want to eliminate your U bolts, then I looked at the installed photo. Interesting, very interesting. One less thing to hang on the rocks.

Parker
I used Barnes 4x4 extended perches. Worked great X2 these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Anti-Wrap-Leaf-Spring-Perch-Pair-Dana-30-amp-Dana-35-/400624095482?&_trksid=p2056016.m2518.l4276 Assuming you have the dana 35. They also have them for dana 44 and Ford 8.8. Eagle are you running SOA with those perches? If so how's your axle wrap?
