Jeepman
I am not a Huge Gamer but From time to time If bored and nothing else to do I will play so I managed to wrangle up a PS4 and upgraded the Xbox 360 to an Xbox one basically got the two systems for the price of one... I tinker and can fix just about anything so I bought a couple broken or they were suppose to be broken (returned to store and auctioned off as broken) and fix them up and playing with them... OK so Why I am starting the thread is Honestly I see them as equals and not sure if I am going to keep both the PS4 and the Xbox One so I just wanted to see who thinks one is better then the other and for what reason and what do you have.. I have a Wii and its fun for the kids (niece and nephew) I have a 360 that I upgraded and like very much but the One and PS4 are so much nicer then the 360 so I am selling the 360 and keeping the newer systems... I know one major advantage for the Xbox One is that by years End it should be backwards Compatible for a bunch of the 360 games so that will be nice for my more expensive games... My list is - Wii - Xbox 360 - Xbox One - PS4 - Colleco Vision (haven't touched it in years) OH and I am Playing these systems on a Samsung 55" LED 3D Smart TV and I find the quality of the two systems to be equal... Megadan
I still have my atari 2600 and boxes full of games from back in my younger days. It has outlasted an SNES, N64, Sega, Sega Genesis, Playstation (original), and Playstation 2.I rarely play it. I just tool around on my XBox 360 from time to time and troll people on GTA5. ggcnash
I'm a gamer, have been since the early 90,s I've owned just about everything that's came out console wise since Sega master system, NES, you name it. I also own both PS4 and ONE I wouldn't give up either, but I'm a gamer too many exclusive titles for both consoles not to keep them. I will say this though, when cross platform games are bought at my house they are bought for the ONE if that tells you anything. Not to down the PS it's just that the ONE is amazing for the whole experience, set up with cable TV I love it .

I was thinking that As I search for Games I find a few that Are Just PS4 or Just Xbox one which I figured these days everything would be on either system... I was thinking about the TV option but I rarely watch TV and I wouldn't consider watching TV thru the Xbox so I wouldn't use that feature... Title selection for Both systems makes me want to stay with the 360 and same with the price of PS4/One games, kinda expensive and I tend to beat games rather quickly (I ONLY play Normal Level if there is the option and rarely play them a second time) so to cough up $90 for a Game and after maybe a week of actual game play it gets shelved (I Like to keep them in just in case I want to play it all over again of for someone else to play)
Minuit
I play games occasionally (nowhere near as much as I used to) on this here PC. The Xbox has more games for it right now and probably always will. And you should be able to play your 360 games not too long from now as you know.
ggcnash
These systems definitely have some hardcore exclusives Halo, infamous just to name a couple keep em both. Oh if you don't have the kinect for the one get it I was skeptical, but now I use it all the time I just yell "Xbox go to ESPN" "Xbox volume up" "Xbox play Halo" "Xbox go to Netflix" it's great

AeroNautical
I play from time to time, just got a PS4 a little while ago, have a ps3 and ps1 also. Love me some Sony games.
Siopposition
At any given point in a game the ps4 has more processing power than the Xbox one When I was researching for my system that's what sold me. At the time at least they had the same.amount of ram and graphics power, but where the Xbox sets aside a peice of ram for the kenect, the ps4 allows that's ram to be reallocated and used in your gaming expirence. That's what pushed me over the line towards the PS4 rather than the Xbox one.
Siopposition
Also the controllers. The d-pad on the Xbox drives me nuts unless using it for like mortal kombat. And the joy sticks in the ps4 controllers have a higher sensitivity than the Xbox....and have been that way since the dawn of time.

Now some things you wrote are true but here is the facts very rarely unless it's a exclusive game which is not many anymore these games are made cross platform meaning that extra power and minimal better graphics card in the PS4 doesn't mean jack squat. Trust me have played titles side by side. The Xbox has a far better upside to the gaming community developers and publishers included. Microsoft isnt going anywhere, have you seen Sonys financial situation lately? The only thing they're selling is the PS4 (which has helped a lot), they recently sold off a lot of things on movie side and was in fear of filing bankruptcy! This could possibly be the last console they ever produce!! Let's be honest , Microsoft would still be one of the most cash heavy company's in the world if they never sale another console, Sony must sale consoles they're future depends on it and don't even get me started about online play Xbox dominates this category, Sony online servers are laughable to say the least. Siopposition
Actually not a Sony fan boy thanks...don't really like Sony. However I do like quality built stuff...and Microsoft equipment is not quality built....and I would disagree, when it comes down to it sonys online play is just as strong as Xbox. Servers are just as strong and they don't drop you in the middle of games nearly as often as Xbox....just my peraonal opinion. I know everyone has their own....and as you said I would and have played both and will eventually own both as well. Just know what I wanted to buy first for a system. Have you tried World of Warships or World of warplanes? Warships is pretty awesome. its still in open beta. its been a while sense i tried warplanes.... SpinTires is a good offroad game on steam, its got a ton of detail. the oldest PC game i play is StarCraft
terrawombat
Haven't tried planes or warships - just world of tanks. I get too addicted to online games and I'm just starting to come off my World of Tanks high...
