88whitemanche Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Nice! I wonder how 2 auto lockers would ride during dd duties...
neohic Posted October 24, 2016 Author Posted October 24, 2016 Does just fine in two wheel. The front obviously hops around on pavement in four wheel, but the drivability is way better now. Only difference between locked/welded and locked/locked is now the rear makes a slight clunking sound around corners and while pulling into parking spots instead of sounding like a yappy little dog while chewing up the rear tires! :rotf: It's been burping and farting more than usual too lately. Have to cycle the key in order for it to start right up, the pump is getting noisy, and the fuel pressure is all over the map. New fuel pump module on the way! Hopefully I'll get it just in time to run the tank empty. :crossfingers:

neohic Posted July 3, 2017 Author Posted July 3, 2017 The end. :( Its getting the axles from my '86 and then... and then I really don't know. I kinda want to keep it, but I really don't know why. It'll probably end up going down the road.
neohic Posted June 28, 2021 Author Posted June 28, 2021 Found some remnants today while I was moving my truck home. Rest in peace, Ape.
neohic Posted June 28, 2024 Author Posted June 28, 2024 I was just telling the story to someone about the time my transmission decided it didn't need fluid in it mid roadtrip to a wheeling weekend. Good times... I sure hope this thing is living on via pots and pans.
