JeepcoMJ
How about the camper mjs???? Least production numbers of all They are still aftermarket. It's a base model MJ grafted to an aftermarket chassis. And desire ability is not really there. While the argument has merit, I think we need to be making the standard, "what is the rarest, off the line, production MJ?"
ComancheKid45
Somewhere at some point i believe I head that there were Dark Blue Eliminators available in 1991-1992? I have never confirmed nor denied this statement though.

Can't get either to show any interest in selling, or joining CC. :fs1:
huricane4
Nice topic! i love rare options (in all car models) Mine is a 1988 Laredo Power Locks/window, Long Bed, Metric Ton/Big ton, 4.0, AW4. Almost all Swedish Comanche look like that.

Not envious of your fuel prices, but you guys got some rare stuff indeed. No RHD MJs were made AFAIK.@jeepcomj there are 91/92 sportrucks out there but the "swoosh" Sport seems to have replaced it by 92. The difference is pretty much just cosmetic. The swoosh was just a dealer installed decal. The sportruck did still exist, but it looked like this: 10-4 on the swoosh. You're right about the 91/92 SporTrucks (I own one!) They got rare after 91 but to be fair SporTrucks are and always were just base trucks with stripes.

Another rare option for MJ Exports to Egypt and Venezuela shown in the parts manual was a 24 VDC electrical system in the HO years. My question is, Why? :hmm: The only advantage I can see is that the wire size can be smaller because the load devices do not draw as much amperage at 24V. I never saw that option, but there were also export high pinion D44 fronts & Cherokees with cargo dividers in place of the rear seat.

My guess would be that the 24V thing was to make them compatible with military radios and equipment maybe?

Minuit
Likely nothing - just shares the same code as the Islander trim level for the Wrangler.
