Again, Not An Mj But .....

I JUST saw a Brute yesterday and didn't know what the hell it was. It looked like a cross between a TJ and an MJ, looked awesome. They aren't sold like that, are they? I've only ever seen that one, and it almost looked aftermarket, just with a big bold "BRUTE" on the side.

I've never been a fan of the Double Cab Brute.

The Brute is why I got an MJ. After figuring the cost of buying a salvage TJ + Brute Kit + fab work + paint, I decided to go with the MJ for simplicity and cost effectiveness. In hindsight, building a TJ Brute would have been cheaper than building my 92.....

My biggest pet peeve with the Brute double cab is the rear doors.  I've ridden in my brothers JKU plenty of times and getting over the wheel intrusion in the back door on a lifted vehicle is not the easiest thing to do.  With the extended length, the door intrusion isn't needed anymore.  I understand that it would be a lot of extra work to fix that, but these things are already crazy expensive.

That double cab looks awesome, so many fond memories of the '05 Gladiator they teased us with for years. Need to do something about those rear doors though. If I had the cash to blow though I'd so grab that, just the double cab brute, not that special forest green ones since I don't care for green.

They have the Jeep JK 8, It was an option from the factory if I'm correct. Read about it and they said it was an extra $6,000 from the manufacturer. The brute is an aftermarket kit. Either way I love both the 2 door and 4 door (But the 2-door looks better)

It won't let me put the Image up for some reason. But search up the Jeep JK 8 Independence.

Yeah, I was asking if that was the pic you wanted posting. But I think it's a $6000 kit and you install it yourself. Or you can pay a dealer to do it. But installation apparently involves a sawzall, so I don't know how hot I am for it.
