87Chief
Hey guys, its been awhile. Sorry. I've been building a 62 Chevy c10 and my comanche has been neglected, but I'm getting her back! I was going to go get some black interior soon and wanted to know what to expect.. Which tools, how long, etc. I plan on getting everything on the inside.. Except heater box. How long does it take to get the dash out? That's what I'm worried about.. Thanks for the advice!

onlyinajeep726
Dash removal: 30 minutes for a first time. 5-10 minutes for someone who has done it a time or two.

87Chief
Yeah my seatbelt bolts weren't that bad.. This guy has 7 Comanches he's willing to part out. He has a d44 on cl for $200.. I'll look and hopefully grab most of the MJ specific stuff.

Minuit
The hardest thing I've ever had to do on my MJ is remove the seat. The seatbelt Torx bolts came easy without the slightest trouble, but the actual nuts holding on the seat brackets gave me nightmares for weeks after. The moral of that story is to always liberally apply penetrating oil to every nut/bolt you plan on touching.
