Alexia
All ridiculously priced NOS tail lights are posted here first. :P http://comancheclub.com/topic/38236-jeep-comanche-nos-mopar-original-tail-light-passengers-side/
NHMJXJ
No offense intended to our fellow CC member. I have more time than money, so revitalizing a used pair is more likely for me. There's a recent thread that details how to restore taillights. Haven't tried it yet, and want to spare my existing taillights from harm of experimentation. Might try it on something else first. GrumpysMJ
Over the years I've played with a lot of older cars and have been on many web sites for those vehicles. Many sellers of parts thought they had "gold" and were selling parts at reduclious prices. I've got to say, the people on this site are so fair in their prices that its a pleasure to visit the classified section. Almost everyone sells at fair prices and everyone helps other and newer members try and locate parts. I just scored a pair of tailights from another member, and will take the best of his and mine to make a good set for me. Was planning on keeping the other set as a spare, as they are hard to come by. But the need is there and I'll post the spare set in a few days for exactely what I paid for them. His price was fair to me and its only right to pass them on to someone else. I'll even split em up as I know a member has been looking for a drivers side lens. I figure what goes around, comes around. GrumpysMJ

I'm restoring an old Mopar, and few people think their parts are worth their weight in gold like Mopar people. :fs1: So far, this forum has been a lifesaver in useful write ups and super reasonable parts prices. I can appreciate how rare an NOS piece can be, so I'll let it slide if it's listed for Big Buxx. Try buying a brand new tail light assembly for a late model car or truck. They're up around $200, so if you HAVE to have a new part, I can see why people might be willing to pay. The eBay sellers are just taking advantage of the people who can't be bothered to type "Jeep Comanche Forum" into Google like I did. . :MJ 1: . JeepcoMJ
the tail lights aren't worth that right now. not since club members flooded the market I've sold sets to a guy in the UK via EBAY for $550/set plus shipping...used. that was when everyone on here was holding onto theirs, and robbing every pair in the junkyard....then when the ebay craze started, you could find 15 sets on there at any given time
RockMJ
Seems like its about time we start manufacturing new ones. Hmmm... RockMJ
huck731
The eBay sellers are just taking advantage of the people who can't be bothered to type "Jeep Comanche Forum" into Google like I did. thats always the first thing I do when I get a new vehicle, join that respective forum. parts are always cheaper adn you may learn that parts from something else will work and are more readily available. case in point, monday I bought a 1980 honda cb750f, got home and immedietly joined the cbf forums. 92tanMJ
I just sold one for 25 and thought I was being greedy. Just remember what comes around, goes around! Seems you gave some a good deal. I'm sure someone will give you a good deal as well some day. I personally am a believer in giving stuff people who don't expect to be given anything. If I am blessed enough with something that I don't need than the least I can do is past it along to them with hopes that they will do it for someone else. Or at least ask for what I have into it. People need to stop being so greedy these days... Lol but if you are a jack wagon than that is a different story.. but Ill get off my soap box now. haha
sinkrun
I could use a set without broken tabs if there is such a thing.
