Pete M
Just wanted to share. :D It's an aluminum 17 footer that I just couldn't pass up at 100 bucks (went in on it with my friend Mike so it technically only cost me $50)
Tracker
Way cool. You can take "The fun begins where the road ends" to a new level, once the ice melts. Don't forget your fishing license.

Pete M
I'm not sure I'm the envy of the neighbors though. :D

beaterjeep
Pete, I don't blame ya, $100 for a 17' aluminum canoe is too good of a deal to pass on.
DirtyComanche
It's probably worth that in scrap alone.
Pete M
Probably not actually. It's incredibly light for such a long boat. We were pleasantly surprised when we picked it up. :D Not sure how durable it is though. It's got some wangs in the front end already, but the seller swears it doesn't leak. I've picked up regular aluminum canoes before and they were always an awkward struggle with 2 people. If I had to, I bet I could pick this one up by myself (still awkward though). Pete M
I've been looking for a year now. Just happened to get lucky and see it on the internet first this time. :D
Eagle
I had canoes many years ago. I sold a nice fiberglass 15-footer to move into a thermoplastic 17-footer. HUGE mistake. I loved the 15-footer and I hated the 17-footer. Couldn't sell it fast enough, but by then I had already let the old one go. I never bought another one but I was thinking "canoe" on the way home from work just yesterday. Probably just a coincidence ...
