I just joined up here. Awesome site I've learned a lot. I'm a MJ newbie so bear with. This is my new project. 1990 MJ with a 4.0 and not sure what manual transmission in it. 4x4. 155k on it. I already see how everyone here likes pics so ill up load some. The white one is the running one. And the red one is the parts donor. Got a 2 for one deal. Sorry about crappy cell phone pics let me know what you think 2ydaparu.jpge2a5y3e5.jpga3u3y4eg.jpgtajyzymu.jpgte7ymeje.jpgeqyture6.jpg

Planning on minimum 4 inch lift. Putting stock mirrors back on. I scored a instrument cluster from a XJ today from the junk yard for 20 bucks. Needs a lot of cleaning and everything maintenance wise needs up to date. It's been sitting for awhile. I'd like a new paint job and an off road style front bumper. Good news is no rust under floor or anywhere. It was fleet maintained.

The Rocky road kits are missing a lot of parts that you would want, once you add everything thier low price is now as high or higher then everyone elses.

Thier products are decent but they are usually slow to ship and several people have reported customer service issues.

As for BDS I have no experience with them but I have never heard a bad thing about them and they are often recommended.

yes.. if you have the money get a set of the springs listed in the MJ tech section they may give you a few inch lift for the rear (maybe 3)and they are killer looking springs. the front is easy get springs and control arms and adjustable track bar and longer shocks all around and done.. RC, rustys,RE.BDS, whoever you like best and gets you a good deal.I have run RE.RC,and rustys parts they are worked. if you want to go higher than 3 then I recommend go long arm and soa on rear and be done.. love the utility bed.

Thank you for your input. Does the AAL kits make for a stiff ride?
