No update on the Comanche…

However I missed my gladiator so much I had to go back. About a week after I sold my rubicon I regretted the decision, i tried to get her back but she was sold . Huge major mistake. I couldn’t get back in to a rubicon but I was able to get a new Willy’s. So nice to be back. Not planning to do much. Definitely not 4.5” lift on 37s again. Anyway, Here she is. Some day I’ll have a Comanche update

So far I have added rubicon shocks and a teraflex leveling kit. Ordered led headlights, fogs, DRLs and taillights. Oh and I had the bed done in linex

Well, I'm picking up the truck 9/22. Beyond disappointed but I’m glad I’ll have it back. Unfortunately now the fenders are sanded. so I guess I’ll be running around with primer on it 😠

I’ll post some pics when I get it back. It’s been a 14 month waste of time.

Did some test fitting on the corbeau trailcat seats. Fit is awesome super happy with them. Went through all the boxes of parts in the garage and got everything out to do the fuel system and trans cooler lines early next week. Will update with pics when I get started.

also went by the drive shaft shop to get that going and talked to my buddy about doing the exhaust. Doing 3” stainless from the collectors back, H pipe and then dumped with turn downs just past the rear axle.

Huge day yesterday. Tons of progress. We got the fuel cell, and all the new fuel system installed. -6AN line everything came out great. Also got the trans cooler mounted and set up, did 6AN for that. Ended up mounting it under the bed I couldn’t find room anywhere else for now it will stay there.

got the power steering lines done and hooked up, also got the cooling system done and hooked up.

got the Intake done, waiting on throttle cable and I have to extend the maf and IAT wiring since I switched the intake to passenger side and moved battery to driver side. I will update with pics today.

Still have to do…

wiring

Driveshaft

exhaust

ac lines

shifter linkage

getting close should be able to at least fire it in the next 2 weeks hopefully

Coming together, here’s a quick pic of where we are at. Been super busy with work, have a ton of updates to post, doing that Tuesday hopefully.

wish I knew how to weld, I would do the exhaust myself. Unfortunately I don’t and I’m not trying to learn on this truck lol I have a guy coming over Friday to measure and come up with a plan for exhaust. He’s fabbed up a ton of local Supra and other awesome builds so his work is top notch. Going with 3” polished stainless for the whole set up. X pipe to magnaflow mufflers, dumped just past the rear axle with turn downs. B8798352-6C7B-445E-8607-F7EC04DCD86D.jpeg.ec627594386dc24f2c1d0d91b8bb16e3.jpeg
