xmeatbagx
If I was to get the factory fog light switch, is there random empty fog light plugs? I know about the plugs behind the dash bezel, but where do they lead? Also, what is the switch on the right? Image Not Found sean

JeepcoMJ
haha, nice. that's the defroster switch for the rear window of a cherokee...not a comanche panel sorry. easy thing to do is pull the switches from it, and paint over the front of that panel with some nice matte black paint and then get a couple fog light switches and wire 'em up. the switches have different functions so they're not all 100% interchangeable...although if you have a test light you can make them do anything! HOrnbrod
I used the XJ rear defroster switch to power up a rear fog light, which was optional equipment on European export XJ's. Don't use it much, but I hate to see an empty switch go to waste.

DirtyComanche
I used the XJ rear defroster switch to power up a rear fog light... Hmm, I've never driven backwards in the fog fast enough to need one of those. Maybe if I had one...

You're a mind reader - that's exactly what I use it for since we don't get much fog down here. The one I used was from a Brit Mini Cooper.
JeepcoMJ
i have a fog right in the middle/bottom of my toolbox in my truck...and i usually drive with the tail light down. i backed it to the front of a escort when adjusting to aim in the general direction :P haha, and cops...just don't get caught it's a good way to get your car impounded or a ticket for wreckless endangerment/driving. p.s. i've used it many times with the desired effect :D
feerocknok
If I was to get the factory fog light switch, is there random empty fog light plugs? I know about the plugs behind the dash bezel, but where do they lead? I installed an XJ panel on the right side with two switchs, and painted the bezel black for misc. things that need switches, but there was no wiring behind where I put the switches at all. On the left side that has the factory fog light switch, my factory fog light plugs end up going to behind the grill, one plug near each headlight.
