JeepcoMJ
sorry no pics on this one...but i was comin into school when i was 17, i drove a $300 vw cabriolet with a leaky roof then. there's a nice 90 degree right hand turn coming into the parking lot...and i thought it'd be fun to drift through it. suffice to say i can't drift, i'm no ricer...knocked the rear axle clean outta the car and bent the left alloy rim into an L. bent the titanium struts but luckily no damage to the unibody...i fixed it for $1400. drove it a few more months, then sold the thing for $1350 to pay for just over half my paintjob on the comanche...and i didn't get my money's worth. i miss that car :( the girl who bought it ran it into a garage door frame now it's all dented up :(
feerocknok
I just started into the intersection when a mini van ran the red light. I shredded her fender with my rock bumper. I did have to replace the drivers side fender, but at least I could drive it home. I'm glade I wasn't driving my comanche that day. Image Not Found You @#$%ed that van up! 87manche
that bumper opened that van like a can opener. I can't wait to have armor on the front of the manche.
Oizarod115
that bumper opened that van like a can opener. I can't wait to have armor on the front of the manche. you shoulda seen what i did to the back of an accord with no more than rusty's towhooks and a stock bumper. caused my clutch fan to go into the radiator and both lights on the drivers side to bust. other than that you can't tell i wrecked it. the back of that accord was straight ($#*&^^ed up. bumper was all over the place, trunk was almost hitting the rear window and i could see the stuff underneath the plastic peices where the frame was. :brows:  whoops. MJchick
Curtis at some comp... Image Not Found I got a really cheap set of tires off him after that because that pretty much totalled his whole rig. But now he's got 1-tons and an aluminum body... :Canadaflag: I Know that pic. It's from the Canadian Off Road Expo that was in Red Deer Alberta this year.We were there and got to see that run. It was a pretty good roll over. mjeff87
No pics, but I've had one good stuck and one "accident" with the MJ. The stuck was when it was still 2WD and I buried it up to the framerails on the farm in a very wet field....had to get the 60's era IH tractor out of the barn and chain it out  About 2 years ago I was driving it to work one day, merging onto the interstate in one of those nifty "weave" lanes (onramp and offramp are the same road), and I bumped nasties with a ZJ....she was exiting as I was merging and we hit passenger side to driverside almost dead center. State police came because it was an interstate, found it non-reporatble due to minimal damage and no injuries, but I was faulted because I was in the merge lane :headpop: It popped the mirror off and put a dent in the center of the driverside door, and scuffed the rear flare on the MJ. I popped the mirror back on (didn't even break the glass), pulled the dent out of the door skin with a sink plunger, and didn't even bother with the flare. BUT, I caused $1600 worth of damage to the ZJ :chillin: Jeff

mvusse
Looks somewhat familiar: Upper balljoint broke, bottom one popped out, took out the axle shaft u joint in the process. Nearest (public) road over a mile of hard wheeling uphill away meant I had no choice but to fix it in the creek. 27 hours later (4 hours of which was two runs to the nearest parts store) it drove out under it's own power with new balljoints and a ZJ cv shaft. COMJNUT
I really don't have any "stuck" or "wrecked" pics, but i do have carnage from daily driving a 20+ yr old truck: Surprised this didn't leave me stranded on the side of the road...it was only a 2.5 mile drive home from work This is what happens when your clutch petal shaft snaps it weld: Fixed:
onlyinajeep726
Don't have any of the MJ since I still haven't been able to drive it since I got her... I do have one of my XJ from about 5-6 years ago stuck in a muddy creek. Made it through the first time going through the other way. Thought I'd show off a little and do it again the other way... No such luck. My buddy ended up having to pull me out and his XJ still sits in my parents yard from where he ripped his transmission all to hell trying to get me out. Open diff. sucks.
