Vendor For Door & Window Seals

Time to replace the MJs cracked window and door seals. Anyone recommend a supplier with quality parts? I could grab some JY stuff, but I want new rubber.

the inner left door window wipe works for the outer right door and vise-verse. also, 97+ cherokee door seals are bigger than the older style. So you should be able to go to a junkyard and get good parts rather than ancient crappy stuff. :thumbsup:

I like pulling door seal parts from two door XJs and trimming them down to fit. Then I can really cram a bunch in there nice and tight!

The grand cherokee door seals are also an upgrade that alot of the xj guys use and could be used as well on mj's.

Not to :hijack: but is it recommended to remove the dash to install the door seals? Or is there enough room to barely squeeze them in? Was pretty easy to remove at the junkyard, but I'm guessing it won't be that way to install. :ack:

No, Loosen the trim and put the new one in right behind the old one you are removing to hold the crevice open.

What years of the Grand Cherokee?? Is this the same years as the XJ? I see lots of mid 90's Grands in the local junk yards, not so many late XJ's

If I remember correctly it was from the late 90's zjs like 95-99.
