Joop
Just bought my 3rd MJ :D Paid and signed the paperwork, just need to drive it home. 1990, 4.0L, SWB, D44, rollbar. Looks a little rough but thats because previus owner startet stripping it down to deal with some rust and paint it, but never got time to finish it. I would say thats its less than a week of work left (and I have 3 weeks holiday starting today) Except from the surface rust on the door and fenders, there is very little rust on it. Engine starts right up and settles at a nice, purring idle. Interior is ugly and worn out, but i have a complete spare interior. Not quite shure what to do with it yet, but thinking about finishing the rust-work, paint it and drive it. If not I could sell it as it is for 3x what i paid. If i fix it i could sell it for atleast 6x!!
jimoshel
Nice. Why would you even remotely think about selling it?
Joop
Nice. Why would you even remotely think about selling it? Because I have no need for 5 cars, the reasonable thing to do would be to sell it and use the money to fix up my other 2 MJ's. But now that I have driven it, theres NO WAY I'm gonna sell it before I have to!! Looks like the volvo will be up for sale soon instead... Me for the first time in over a year -------->

Backdraft
Remi, that can't be a pic of Jim's place. There isn't nearly enough cars there.

jimoshel
Me thinks the young lads has a wee bit of a tendency to exaggerate a tad. :rotf:
Joop
Me thinks the young lads has a wee bit of a tendency to exaggerate a tad. :rotf: When someone says that, they usually have twice as many as we first tought. Kinda like when you ask your girl how much she spent on shopping, or when your girl ask you how many beers you had :brows:
jvd
Do you now own every MJ in Norway, :D . I couldn't imagine there would be that many, but i've been wrong before.
ComancheKid45
Nothing wrong with multiple vehicles, expecially is the majority of them are Comanches!

jimoshel
Being a world traveler one thing I've noticed. You can always find a Jeep, somewhere. Same can't be said for Ford, Chevrolet, Morris, Bently Saab, Volvo, Renault, Fiat, Siat, Yugo, Bmw, etc, etc. I think Volkswagon maybe the next most seen. The 5-cylinder Mercedes diesels I've seen more than any other vehicle besides certain commercial trucks or vans. I think every country in the world uses them as taxis since they run forever. Joop
Good choice, IMHO I really hope you are right! That be if I actually can sell it. Not shure if i can, it means too much to me. I know that ol'swede inside out, upside down and it has never let me down! That and swedish engineers actually know how to wire a car, something I can't say about Jeep engineers....
