rear 4 link?

I have an 89 4lt that i want to link the rear because the rear just doesnt keep up

where should i look for the 4 link parts at?

whats bad and good? etc help please

i right now just have soa and lift shackle what different to do

I run SOA on the rear with longer shackles and I've been told my truck "flexes like crazy". I can pick any tire up 41" before another lifts, limited by my shocks. With the shocks disconnected I can go more, but then the brake hoses are too short.

Have you flexed it on a ramp or with a forklift to see what is limiting it? If you don't have acess to either you can bring it to my shop and flex it with the forklift.

Cory what shocks are you running? where are they mounted to the axle? got pics?

Based on that picture it looks like your rear suspension isn't doing much, the rear axle looks pretty parallel to the body still. Your front is doing all of the work.

 

Edit: not trying to be mean, just pointing out my observation.

The front definently has alot more flex then the rear. The rear is about maxxed for up travel but I think I can get a little more down travel out of it.

no complaints with my leaf packs either. stock 2wd packs, with a 1" lift shackle.

same here. I really like my leafs. :yes: well-used 2wd packs with an extra main leaf thrown in.

 

 

 

 

 

and that's back when my shocks were limiting my travel both up and down.
