Factory wheel "Weigh In"

Recommended Posts

I , for one, like to mix and match different sets of factory wheels for a unique look to my jeeps.

With the ever rising fuel prices, one factor I consider is the weight of my wheel/tire combination.

The weight of the tires can usually be found on the tire MFRs website, but I haven't found a good resource with all the weights of the bare factory rims.

If anyone has the weight and a pic of any factory wheels, steel or alloy, post it up...

I'll start...weights are for the bare wheel only...no tires.

Well I have to admit I am in love with factory wheels as well currently I have 97 alloy 5 spokes on plus the matching 5th spare wheel, am hoarding away a complete 5 piece set of 15x6" steelies from 87 with all 4 trim rings and center caps, and have 4 aluminum lace style wheels from a 93 country xj.

wow those are some lightweights!  :D

Yep! I refuse to give up this particular set of wheels. FWIW, mine are stamped with "Venezuela" in the back.

They made a BIG difference going to those from the stock Jeep steelies.
