Craigslist score/re-interduction

I haven't posted on here in a while since I sold my last MJ. Today I scored another MJ I found on craigslist; a one owner 1992 2wd 5speed swb 2.5L. It came with the original window sticker and paperwork. Here are a few pics from the seller

It has the cleanest factory interior I have ever seen in a used MJ. I have BIG plans which include 4wd swap, lift, axles, oh yeah a 4bt too. Look for a build thread coming soon(this is going to be a loooong term project).

PS. Not responseable for spelling errors as I am posting from a dumb phone with auto correct.

All kinds of people are going to be asking for the VIN # to see if this is the last MJ ever produced...

May be a dumb question but does anyone know where the last MJ was shipped to?

Chrysler kept horrible records... So that info really doesn't exist. What's even worse, is that the only records they have were in a basement storage area and were victim of a flood. Jeep will even admit to this. All the records of such things were destroyed...

And to the OP... How dare you post up about buying a '92 and not immediately post the build date, VIN, and name of your first born.

Maybe because he doesn't care? I don't blame him. Congrats on your new 92, she is a prize. I wouldn't do a thing to it except bring it back to it's original showroom condition, and it looks that won't be too difficult. Keep it completely original, it will be worth big $$ down the road. It's too pretty to screw up and you will kill it's future value.

Yeah, 92's are the rarest by far, about 5K made. I'd leave it stock.

:agree:

There are plenty of MJs out there that you can rescue from the boneyard to do what you want to with but very few out there that are in that nice of shape.

Besides, with the way gas prices are going, that 4cyl is worth gold.

Keeping it stock is a novel idea but stock is boring and we are not talking about a numbers matching big block camaro or hemi cuda here. I'll have the VIN later this week when I bring it home. Think of this project as a resto-mod.
