Hi, just joined. I was looking for a new Daily Driver and came across this 62K mile 2wd 2.5. A little rough around the edges, but it should clean up well. First orders of business clutch, exhaust shocks. I am a keep it stock kind of guy.

"North shore of Lake Superior"

What town?

How convenient! You wanted me to buy the first one so you could see it... I didn't, but it's closer to you anyhow! What a guy, hu? So accommodating! :D

Welcome Tempest! Yet another member in the MN chapter... our numbers are growing strong! How is it that you're in MN, but yet your trucks look mostly clean of rust?

  • 2 weeks later...

Update:

New clutch, exhaust, radio, shocks, etc, etc installed.

62 K miles!

Also a pic of my "no cost" courtesy light repair. Sorry for the fuzzy pic.

I bend the tab that usually contacts the roller to make contact wth the side that goes to the b/w wire, epoxy the blade into position and hold it temporarily with a tie wrap till the epoxy sets, then use a side cutter to clip off the roller. Wrap some duct tape around the outside to make up for the broken tabs and you are good to go.
