MancheKid86 Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 my old autoshop teacher is currently building a firefly with full on race roll cage, with a v8 engine mounted in it :wrench:
jimoshel Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 You can put anything into anything. Some other questions would be why? What is the purpose? Is it practical? Drag strip, race car or street only? I have installed a 6 cylinder 300hp Franklin airplane in a '41Chevy, no mufflers, a 350 Buick in a '58 VW and a 500 Cadillac in a '65 Corvair, among some others. Hmmm, There's a Santa Fe surplus diesel locomotive at the salvage yard and I've got this Crosley in the yard. Getting out tape measure. :wrench:  :rotfl2:
SW86 Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 ricers...... :shake: ...but i guess american muscle in one would make it less retarded and less fart sounding
mvusse Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I have seen a Cadillac 500 in a Chevette. 6 seconds (1/8 mile) for <$2000.
mj Mike Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 i did some research to see if the v8 twin turbo civic is real it a V8 6.0L twin turbo diesel thats some genetically enhanced rice my guess is it runs a 1/4 mile in 7 or 8 seconds :hmm: http://www.powerstrokenation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67153
jimoshel Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I once built a dragster using 8 turbo=charged Cadillac 520's, 2 driving each wheel connected by hydraulics. It was so fast that I never did get a timing slip on it. When the tree turned green I was thru the 1/4 before the timer could get started. :rotf: :thwak:

We would all really like that!
