what cherokee parts will fit the comanche

i just recently got a MJ and i will be needing to get some parts for it. i was wondering if you all could help me generate a list of cherokee parts that will fit the MJ.

Basically, anything from the cab forward.

Everything from the doors forward is exactly the same (within the same group of years). Rear axles and brakes are also the same, but the rear axle mounts are different.

 

Not all years are interchangeable electrically. Chrysler changed to their own, in-house injection/ignition system in 1991, so pre-91 stuff related to fuel and ignition won't fit 91 and 92 -- regardless of whether it's an XJ or an MJ.

Yes, it does. 2-doors won't fit.

 

Also, '97+ doors won't fit without a matching '97+ striker plate welded in.

2 door XJ doors will not fit on an MJ. 4 door front doors are identical to MJ doors.

Not everything from the cab forward is the same. Floor pans, seat brackets, seat belts, and e-brake come to mind.

No. Some mechanical and suspension parts will.

Depends on the part and the year of the Grand Cherokee. Body and interior parts are a no. Some mechanical parts and front suspension parts will interchange.
